1. Sci fi city: What will the future look like if you are the one in charge?
Children will be king for a day, as they create an amazing 3D city scape using cardboard and paint. We will have a look at architects such as Haus-Rucker and Co and Bjarke Ingels to inspire us, imagining a city from our dreams.
Wednesday 11 July
10 - 12 pm. $30 per student
Email Liz or pay via PayPal on the images on this page.
2. Zine Making: Chop, stick, fold, draw!
Students will create a mini foldy magazine with a theme of their own. They can write a story, draw a comic, make a top 10, a "how to..." guide or an "experts guide to....": there's no limit to the creative ideas you can fill a zine with! Starting with a brainstorming session to get the juices flowing, we will experiment with a range of materials including coloured paper stocks, magazines for collage, sharpies and fineliners to create our zines.
